Villa Siena - Community Architecture

Villa Siena

Mountain View, CA

LEED Silver

The Villa Siena project is a comprehensive campus transformation for a premier senior care facility operating as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). Demonstrating our firm's deep expertise in complex institutional architecture and OSHPD (HCAI) compliance, the scope encompasses a newly constructed 65,000-square-foot, 68-unit assisted living facility, alongside the complete rebuild and remodel of a 14,000-square-foot skilled nursing facility.

A critical priority of the master plan was to preserve the site's heritage while ensuring zero displacement of the community's vulnerable residents. To accommodate the new facility's footprint, the historic nurses' convent was carefully preserved and relocated on-site.

To maintain continuous care and stability for the occupants, the entire campus reconstruction was meticulously orchestrated across five distinct phases. This highly technical sequencing allowed all existing residents to remain safely and comfortably on-site throughout the duration of the build.
